MEDIA ADVISORY

Posted December 30, 2009

ATLANTA - (December 30, 2009) Downtown Atlanta will be packed with numerous activities on New Years Eve, Thursday, December 31. The Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center will be no exception as Chick-fil-A Bowl events and activities consume the 200-acre campus.

As a reminder to the many out-of-town fans attending the Chick-fil-A Bowl at the Georgia Dome, please leave big bags and backpacks in your car or hotel rooms. Georgia Dome personnel will conduct pat downs and check bags, just like they do for admission to every Atlanta Falcons game. Gates open at 5:30 pm for the big game between Tennessee and Virginia Tech and kickoff is at 7:30 pm.

Fans that plan on attending Chick-fil-A Bowl events are encouraged to arrive early for activities to maximize their fun and enjoyment. Fans are also encouraged to use MARTA (mass transit, www.itsmarta.com) due to limited parking space and the fact that many streets will be closed throughout the day.

For more information surrounding Chick-fil-A Bowl activities please visit www.chick-fil-abowl.com or www.gadome.com .
