In addition to the variety of spaces, which can
make your event unique, the Georgia Dome has all the amenities
of a first-class sports facility:

FieldTurf (can cover with Terracover for non-sporting events)
Ceiling Height:
From 290 feet in center to 190 feet at outer edge.
Arena Curtain:
A curtain can be hung at 1/2 or 3/4 house to provide a smaller
setting for events that do not require use of the entire Dome.
Electrical
Power: Exceeds 8,000 amps at 208 volts, 3-phase, 4
wires.
Utilities:
Utility grid on 30 foot centers distributes electrical, telephone,
water and drain connections. Gas and air are available upon
request.
Sound, Video
and Public Address System: Full audio capability is
available throughout the building. On-site video productions
will monitor drops in all areas.
Staging:
The stage is 40 feet deep by 60 feet wide and extends 4 to 6
feet high.
Two Freight
Doors: 14 feet wide by 13 feet 10 inches high.
Truck Loading:
There's one platform with positions for seven trucks. Direct
access and an ample amount of floor space allows trucks to park
next to the stage for easy loading and unloading.
Meetings/Conventions:
The Dome seats up to 60,000 people theater-style and offers
five meeting rooms that can accommodate from 50 to 150 people
each. Both the Dome's main floor and meeting rooms are equipped
with fiber optics to allow the intercontinental transmittal
of voice, data and video information.

Lighting:
The Dome has a translucent Teflon-coated Fiberglas roof providing
an open air atmosphere with natural light. A metal halide lighting
system provides up to 200-foot candle illumination at floor
level and requires 10 minutes to light at full intensity. Supplemental
downlights are available.
Labor:
Georgia is a right-to-work state. Both union and nonunion labor
is available.
