New Stadium Construction & Traffic Updates
As the Atlanta Falcons, GWCCA and City of Atlanta begin construction on a new world class stadium to replace the Georgia Dome, construction could impact your route to an event. For more information on how each event could be impacted please click here. New Stadium Construction Page
Seating: Seating is general admission. Friends and family can get as close as possible, but be advised that there is NO SEAT SAVING for other guests.
Floor: Family and friends are not allowed on the floor. Floor access is reserved for graduates only.
After the Graduation: We ask that parents meet their graduates outside on the West Plaza, closest to Gate C and the Georgia World Congress Center, for photo opportunities instead of inside the building.
Ticket Information: This is a non-ticketed event.
First Aid Locations:
Floor: Main first aid room, extension. 8091.
Lower: Aisle L38, Gate D, extension 3582.
Contraband: Not allowed: helium balloons, laser wands, TVs, weapons, bottles, cans, outside food/ beverages, coolers, flags on poles, thermos bottles. Still cameras and video cameras are allowed. There is a bag check for this event. Wrapped packages are subject to being unwrapped and inspected.
Concessions: There are limited concessions open for this event.
ATMs: ATMs are located at Gates C and D.
Executive Levels: Suite levels are not in use today.
Getting to the Ceremony.
The Georgia Dome is located to the immediate west of the downtown Atlanta area on the corner of Northside Drive and Georgia Dome Drive. The Dome is also accessible by the MARTA rail system via Vine City and Georgia Dome stations. Parking is at a premium on event days, so taking MARTA is highly recommended. For complete information on MARTA visit itsmarta.com. Many MARTA stations offer free parking lots.
While traveling to and from games, all drivers are encouraged to follow the directions of traffic police.

Disabled parking spaces are available in the Red Deck on a first-come first-served basis. Disabled parking placards will be checked by parking personnel and/or law enforcement to ensure the person who has been issued the placard by the State is present in the vehicle.
