From its inception, the Georgia Dome
has made accessibility a top priority. We hope the following
information helps make your Georgia Dome visit a most enjoyable
one.
Opened in 1992, the
Georgia Dome was designed to create a barrier-free environment
that provides guests with a complete "event experience." All
levels are fully accessible by ramps and elevators. Only the upper level does not offer accessible seating because of sightline and structural restrictions.
Throughout the Dome,
all guests have easy access to telephones and drinking fountains.
Other areas with accessible features include the parking lots,
ticket office, concession and merchandise stands, restrooms, press
box and locker rooms.
Administrative Offices
Georgia Dome Administrative Offices are located at the Gate E public entrance. Our office hours are Monday – Friday, from 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.

Lost and Found
If you lost something at the Georgia Dome please call 404.223.4978 to check our lost and found department and see if it was turned in there. Most items are usually to this location within 24 hours of the event.
Dome Service Centers
You will find a Dome Service Center at each of our six main entrances, as well as the Executive entrance at Gate F. Our Guest services personnel can assist with information, directions, lost and found, wheelchair assistance, assisted listening device rental, and other services you may need.
Elevators
The Dome has passenger elevators located at all gates and staffed
on event days to assist guests. The elevators are equipped with
audible tone and Braille floor level indicators.
First Aid
During all ticketed events, the Dome keeps a staff of doctors,
nurses and paramedics on-site. We have a first aid room located
on the floor level near Gate E. The Dome's trained event staff
can assist promptly in any emergency situation.
Hearing-Impaired Services
The free use of hearing-amplification devices is offered
with a security deposit at all Dome Service Centers. The Dome
also features hearing aid compatible pay phones with volume
control, flashing exit signs, visual fire alarm signals, and
a TDD phone (404-223-8440) located in the ticket office.
Public Transportation
Both the Philips Arena/Dome/GWCC (W1) and Vine City (W2) MARTA
stations are located close to the Dome. The recommended Philips
Arena/Dome/GWCC station allows convenient access to Gates C
and D across Georgia International Plaza.
Restrooms
All restrooms are fully accessible with a private area large
enough to maneuver a wheelchair. The Dome also provides several
private unisex restrooms, equipped with emergency pull chains
to call for assistance.
Seating
Depending on an event's configuration, we can provide approximately
500 wheelchair accessible spaces on the lower and club/mezzanine
levels. The locations were chosen with consideration given to
ease of access, sightlines, number of seats, and cost.
Sight-Impaired Services
The Dome's barrier-free environment is designed with recessed
water fountains and telephones. We welcome sight-impaired guests
with guide dogs and assistance aides.
Tickets
Counter service at the proper height for guests in wheelchairs
to pick up their tickets is an important design feature. To
order tickets, call the Dome ticket office at 404-223-8427 or
the Dome TDD at 404-223-8440.
Tours
Guests may take guided tours of the Georgia Dome on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tours are subject to
change on event days. For more information or to schedule a Group Tour, call Dome Tours
at 404-223-TOUR or the Dome TDD at 404-223-8440.
